✨❤️ ONE LAST TIME… EEVIE × LUCIOUS ❤️✨

This announcement is a little bittersweet for us.

Our beautiful Eevie is expecting her final litter before officially retiring from our breeding program and spending the rest of her days exactly where she belongs, right here at Freedom Mountain. 🥹❤️

Eevie is so much more than one of our queens. She has been an incredibly special part of our family and an important part of the foundation of our Maine Coon program. She has given us some truly extraordinary babies over the years, but even more importantly, she has passed along that wonderfully loving, social temperament that means so much to us.

So when it came time to choose the sire for her final litter, we wanted this pairing to be something really special.

And we chose Lucious. 💙

Between Eevie and Lucious, we are bringing together beautiful size, gorgeous structure, and two incredibly loving temperaments. And then there are the EYES. 😍

This pairing gives us the potential for kittens with beautiful green eyes, brilliant blue eyes, and, if genetics decide to give us an extra little gift, even ODD EYES: one blue and one green. 💚💙

Odd-eyed Maine Coons are such a special treat, and while Mother Nature is the only one who gets to decide what she gives us, the possibilities with this pairing have us incredibly excited. But more than anything, this litter is going to be about Eevie. ❤️ Knowing these will be the last babies we watch her carry, raise, love, and send out into the world as little pieces of Freedom Mountain makes this one incredibly emotional for us.

Afterward, she gets to retire from motherhood and simply enjoy being our Eevie, loved, spoiled, and forever home here on the Mountain. 🥹

We have a feeling her grand finale is going to be one for the books……but I’m knocking on every piece of wood I can find after saying that. 😂🪵🤞
